“There was a very strong lumberjack looking  for work.
He came to a timber merchant and this one immediately hired him.
Because he was well paid and the working conditions were very good, the wood cutter gave his best to work as well.

The merchant gave him an ax and showed him the place where to cut the trees.
On the first day, the man has cut 15 trees.
“Congratulations,”  said the boss.
“Continue to work in the same way!”
Being extremely motivated by the words of boss, the wood cutter tried to work better the next day, but he could knock down more then 10 trees.
The third day he tried even harder , but he managed to knock down 7 trees.

Day after day he knocked fewer and fewer trees.
“I think I’m losing my powers,” was thinking the wood cutter. He went to the dealer and embarrassed he apologized saying that he doesn’t understand what is happening to him.
“When was the last time you sharpened your ax?” Asked the merchant.
“Sharp? I had no time to sharpen the ax. I was too busy to cut the trees … “”

Drawing a parallel, there are spiritual pathways in which people refuse the life in the world, which it seems to brakes, brutalizes and removes them from the spiritual ideal and thus they retreat into solitude or in the monastery. They dedicate their entire time to inner transformation and spiritual evolution, having a permanent deal to “sharpen the ax”. These are good pathways, pathways of the denial of world appearance and of transcendence.

There are pathways in which the authentic Seeker  retreats in the Self and made spiritual efforts to transform himself and grow, and then he “throw” again in middle of the  life, understanding it in a new way, because now  “has sharp ax” .

Then, when  he feels the need, returns in solitude to make one more spiritual leap, which he can enjoy it  then, in the midst of life , until this impulse is lost and returns in the meditation room, to “sharpen his ax again” .

They are very good spiritual path that integrates life and use of spiritual training to get better facing the challenges of life.

But there is also a spiritual path that

life itself produces transformation and evolution

the way that “The more trees you cut off, the more stronger the ax is sharpened, by itself.
I mean, in this case, the ax is sharper just because of using it. ”

THIS IS THE WAY OF THE HEART  PATH -  ABHEDA YOGA, the path of spirituality in the middle of life.

……………………………………………………

Heart Path or Abheda Yoga is an essentially practical esoteric methods for being spiritual in the middle of life.

It’s a spiritual non-dualistic direct perspective  , which is based on traditional information, scientific systematized  and practiced to current Western cultural environment. They provide, through practical application, spiritual effectiveness and energy recharging .

According to this system, in each of us are present the same potentiality which does not depend on the qualities or defects from the present.
Heart Path follows awakening or the revelation in ourselves  of this potentiality which is actually our own state, the natural state of “being ourselves”, condition that can be reached in the middle of life even in the waking state.

This state is perfect, it includes everything in it and is the foundation of  to all known states.
Every human being has in her this condition, but it overlaps with limited aspects specific to the transient personality.

lotus-1.jpgThe progress of the practitioner is accelerated by following :

- “making  good” in a  detached and integrated way, respecting the universal divine laws and the moral and ethical issues
- the loving transfiguration of life, in all its aspects
– purification and harmonization of being, from the physical to the subtlest levels.

Later the practitioner can relate instantly,   first intermittently and then permanently, to this inner natural state, in the middle of life.
